The morning started fairly early. John John came downstairs with Mommy and was sort of in shock when he saw the layout. The tent/T.P. tunnel system was a hit, but not without some initial coaxing. The basketball hoop from Uncle Danial and Tita Norlyn was pretty much an instant favorite, as was the talking/laughing/story telling Elmo. What was not such a success was Daddy's attempt to make a new family traditional breakfest...Dutch Babies (or sometimes called German Pancakes). Maybe next year with the family recipe at hand along with the proper equipment. This Christmas morning was about as good as it gets with a 17 month old who was going on his 5th day of the stomach flu; thus the various not-so-happy faces. Poor little baby.

So cute! Gavin has a similar tunnel/tent setup, and the same undershirts as John John.
Just wait until he is old enough to come visit Aunt Jocelyn in San Diego... Seaworld and the Zoo... Oh and did I mention I live 10 mins from Qualcomm Stadium? Yes, home of that other team....
